‘Ga-Ga for Gustav’

Clarke Bustard over at Letter V reports this tale of severely misguided orchestra administrators. It would be more amusing if it wasn’t so tragic.

‘Ga-Ga for Gustav’: So read buttons being handed out this weekend for performances of Mahler’s “Resurrection” Symphony by the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Choral Society. The musicians are wearing the buttons during the concerts. We’re not making this up.
