Nothing To Do With Anything But Still Interesting
Apparently, if you are ever unsure of what side of the car your gas tank makes its home, take a look at the gas pump icon on your dashboard. Whichever side of the icon the pump bit is on, is the side where you’ll find the gas tank.
So far, Miss Mussel has tested this theory on a VW, Toyota, Oldsmobile and a Chrysler. Results show a 100% correlation.
What about yours?
UPDATE: Some rather embarassing reversing ballet on the gas station apron this afternoon [17/11] provides evidence for the contrary opinion. The Oldsmobile Intrigue is hereby removed from the list of “Fors”.

No way! I’m so excited to, errr, travel by car somewhere so I can test this hypothesis… no, seriously.

It is kind of exciting, isn’t it. Miss Mussel looks forward to hearing your results.

I’m afraid I’m more of a Volskwagen/BMW girl. Although since my primary vehicle is pedal-powered, it’s all rather moot at this stage.
