Linkity Links, Part The Second
More mortgage writing equals more links lists. Fortunately, there are some really exciting things to link to today, so it’s quite possible this list would have been posted in any case.

- Matthew Guerrieri has an excellent post up today on the economics of taste, proposing curiosity as a currency model rather than physical dollars. It’s brilliant and worth commenting on in much greater depth than a links list. Maybe tomorrow.
- For those on Mac and therefore more naturally more awesome than those who are happy with visually assaultive computing devices, DASHBOARD WIDGITS! There are, of course, all manner of shiny, pretty things to add to your dashboard but a couple that Miss Mussel has started to use of late are the BBC radio player and the BBC on demand radio player. There is also a neat one connected with iTunes that acts as a sleep timer and alarm.
- For your daily dose of absurd, why not some upside-down piano piano playing?
- Phil over at Dial M has a “bit of old footage from Edward R. Murrow’s See It Now broadcast. It shows a Republican congressman reciting a love poem to Joseph McCarthy, and McCarthy getting all choked up.” A prime example of why kids should start memorizing poetry in school again. Not even Stone Cold Joe can resist the allure of a bit of verse. Bless.
