Quiz #1 Second Clue
Things are heating up in the Name That Tune contest going on here at The Omniscient Mussel this week.
The amnesiac or purposefully mysterious Sine Nomine has guessed Orff or Copland. While these are plausible, they aren’t possible mostly because they’re not the right answer.
Here are a few more clues:
The piece was written in 1952.
It’s first full performance in the UK was given in 2003.
Dissonances in the final movement resulted in the piece being banned by the composer’s government.
