Quiz #8: In By A Nose
It was a close finish this week but Miss Mussel is proud to announce that Mark Kim has written in with Heinrich Biber Mystery Sonata No. 10 The Crucifixion c. 1676. Hurrah!
There are a great many interesting things about these sonatas and indeed Biber himself. Very thorough liner notes to a recording are available here, so rather than Miss Mussel pinching and reproducing them in this space, it seems more convenient if you just head on over and read them at your leisure.
The complete sonata will be labelled properly and place on the left sidebar later on in the morning. i.e. after Miss Mussel obtains the requisite amount of beauty rest.
