DiscDrive is one of the CBC radio shows that will be no longer come Fall. On weekdays between 3 and 6, the show is an at time eccentric mix of art, folk and world music held together by the endearingly nutty Jurgen Gothe. The show’s final Limerick Contest is on now until 20th May.

Here are the basic rules from DiscDrive’s site:

Each Limerick must contain the following five words:
pinot
rotund
deliquescent
shambles
eggplant OR aubergine

All five mandatory words must be included within each limerick.
Inclusion of these words in an accompanying note only, will not be considered as an entry.

Contest Dates: From Monday, May 12th to Tuesday, May 20th (11:59 PM PT)
Winners announced: Wednesday, March 21st on DiscDrive on CBC R2, 3:00 – 6:00 (3:30 – 6:30 NT)

Prizes:
Grand Prize – GOULD THE RADIO ARTIST 5-CD Set (CBC Records)
plus a complete DiscDrive Promotional Package including:
