Quiz #15 Clue One

There have been some correct answers thus far by a few eagle-eared readers but there is still hope for those that haven’t guessed yet.

The OM Quiz is moving permanently to a draw format. It seems this is the most fair system since it removes time zones out of the equation (equasion?) as well as giving those who maybe don’t recognize the piece right away a chance to win.

So, without further adieu, here are today’s clues:
1) The composer had a mustache
2) The piece is core rep for the instrument, so if you know any horn players they’ll be able to give you a hand.
3) It isn’t the Weber Concertino, although that is a decent guess.
