A few minutes nosing around OM stats revealed this shocking new development:

The Omniscient Mussel is #1 for the search term Ron Maclean + thumbs up.

While this state of affairs really illustrates the vagaries of Google indexing more than inroads made into the wild world of NHL on the interwebs, it is still….what’s the phrase the kids are using these days? Oh yeah….pretty damn cool.

Note for those readers who won’t be voting in the Federal election on 14th October: Ron Maclean is one half of the duo Ron and Don who have a feature called Coach’s Corner on during the first intermission of hockey games broadcast on the CBC. Ron is the one without the hat.
