Not-as-random-as-it-might-first-seem-kitchen-advice: When storing cardamom, do so in an airtight container that is not near anything else. Although delicious, cardamom is a very strong spice that can flavour nearby ingredients if left in a plastic bag. Like M&Ms, for instance. That being said, chai tea flavoured chocolate chip cookies turn out to be a rather pleasant confection.
