Atlanta Symphony Orchestra 2009/10 Season Highlights

The art of programming a full symphony season is utterly fascinating. What is considered first? Money, audience, the music? Is there a secret formula of new vs. comfort that is guaranteed to work?
Tis the season announcing the 2009/10 season all over North America, so although she is not actually going to hear any of most of these concerts, it is still interesting to have a look at what’s on offer and discover how each orchestra answers the question of what to play.
