Those that are reading via feedreader may not have noticed the intermittent flashes of bizzarerie that have popped up on The OM these last few days. Miss Mussel has a terrible habit of editing websites live rather than on her localhost, which means some of you may have stopped in while walls were being torn down and relocated.

The basic structure is completed now and there are fantastic plans for the sidebar in the near future. At the moment, it’s best to let things rest and see how they function before doing more building.

There is one new feature to announce, and that is the Video Gallery. This page contains all the Youtube videos Miss Mussel has linked to over the past 18 months and will be updated as new ones are mentioned.

Your thoughts on any part of the site, its usefulness and readability are extraordinarily helpful and will certainly make the final product better.

Here a list of features Miss Mussel is thinking of incorporating:

Featured Piece – program notes possibly with audio samples
Featured Album – review with audio of one track
Featured Ensemble – highlighting Canadian performing arts organizations

Find A Show – this one is a little more complicated and would likely not be fully ready to go until the 09/10 season starts. Basically, it will index Canadian listings and allow searching by keyword, location, genre and price.

At this point, there is still plenty of room for other ideas. What resources do you wish for but can’t seem to find anywhere else?
