wow, you’ll see le grand macabre!! you should see it especially since its done by La Fura dels Baus, who are super hot and creative…they did a stupendous Damnation in salzbururg a while back, their new ring is about to be released on dvd, but i find this one a bit too much like a circus or casino. still a production like that shouldn’t be missed, there is nothing resembling it here! plus it’s ligeti…when will there be a second chance?

Thanks for the suggestions! I am trying to get to a broad a range of shows as possible, so I’ll have to investigate those.

I hope I have the energy as well….I have an ambitious list made – whether I get to it all or not is another story entirely. Summer weather is supposed to be good this year and the lure of the park and a book or two is strong.

If you’ve got the energy, try any number of picturesque venues that do music theatre from time to time (BAC, Wilton’s, Bridewell, the Globe…).

BTW, your Don Carlo link goes to Le Grand Macabre, which might well be a better bet anyway.
