Urban Hiking
Due to an early closure of the Vigo Street Starbucks and a failure on Miss Mussel’s part to remember her internet donglemabob, a considerable window of time opened up last night ahead of the Ukulele Prom.
The weather was absolutely lovely, so there was only one thing for it – an urban hike in a vaguely westerly direction. No map allowed, just twisting and turning through side streets as and when the spirit moved. 4 miles and roughly 90 minutes later Miss Mussel arrived at that evening’s terminus: The Royal Albert Hall via, as it turned out, Savile Row, Berkeley Square, The Dorchester Hotel and Hyde Park.
