Back…Sort Of

It seems that 10 days of 2010 have slipped by without so much as a peep from the OM. Rather bizarrely, the world still seems to be spinning on its axis and life is proceeding as normal for more than 6.5 billion people. It’s enough to make a girl give it up for a pile of magazines and a hammock.

The activities of these last few weeks are undoubtedly providing the fuel for these visions of tropical relaxation. Miss Mussel has been making Faustian bargains relating to real estate copy. Aside from a few occasional glances at her bulging feed reader, Miss Mussel has been completely occupied with explaining due diligence, market cycles, neighbourhood grades. Writing in an interesting way about boring subjects is rather satisfying and, even at its worst, beats an office job by several hundred miles.

Posting will likely be quite light over the next week or so while all things real estate get finished up. Fortunately, when it gets to be just crickets around here, there is usually plenty happening on Twitter. If you wish to add some Mussel to your water cooler, follow @missmussel. Incidentally, Miss Mussel assumes that by now everyone has a good idea of how Twitter works, what it’s for etc. If you don’t but would like to, speak up in the comments. That goes for institutions as well.
