La Musique
Miss Mussel has been toying with an audio feature for quite some time but as of yet has not settled on a format, installment plan or indeed what exactly the content should be. So, in tried and true 21st-century fashion, she is turning the microphone over to you, gentle reader.
Would you like to hear a track from a new album release once a week, a playlist of things that caught Miss Mussel’s ears, a more systematic working through of the repertoire. What about non-classical music? Let’s hear your thoughts. Loudest squawk will probably win, so gather your mates round.
While you’re thinking about it, here’s 14 tracks that pop up regularly on the OM stereo. Click on the links below to find out more about the artists. iTunes will sort you out if you’d like to hear more.
Dan Deacon – Snookered | The Magnetic Fields – Absolutely Cuckoo & The Cactus Where Your Heart Should Be | Bishop Allen – Dirt On Your New Shoes & Butterfly | The Old Canes – One Day | St Vincent – The Bed | The Books – Tokyo (new album!) | Sarah Hagen – Song Without Words Op 19 No.1 | Alexandre Tharaud – Barricades Misterieuses
P.S. If you reading this in a feed reader and are confused, click through. A player with the aforementioned music awaits.

It is so shiny! I like the idea of a whole random mix of things, classical and not, that caught your ears. Or what about theme playlists? That is one of my favourites to do in iTunes: type in a random word like “elephant” or “pages” or something and see what pops up.
And tracks from new albums are always acceptable. Just sayin’
Hey! I really like the playlist idea. Hmmm….. Also the random one sounds good as well. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens!
