Here’s the plot of Salome (or at least the story that inspired it) as told by an Irish schoolgirl in the 1960s. The animation house Brown Bag Films, used actual recordings made of children telling Bible stories to make an endearing series of shorts called Give Up Yer Aul Sins. These and other delights (including the peerless Granny O’Grimm) can be found on their Youtube channel.
