Miss Mussel went last year and made this video with her iPhone. It’s not exactly Pulitzer material but it should give you a decent idea of what the event is like.

OM Top Tip: work yourself into a crowd of people. If you loiter in the periphery, the sound collage doesn’t work so well. Also, it’s colder. Be a penguin. Huddle up.

If you live elsewhere, it’s likely that an Unsilent Night event will be happening near to you. Here’s the full schedule. It’s a great event to bring kids to. Nothing will warm the heart of a sullen teenager more than the chance to play music really loud on their mobile phone speakers.

On second thought….being allowed to do it will probably ruin the appeal. A chance to rock a 1980s boombox might grab their attention again though.
