Opera Goes Down t’ Pit

The Ensemble Studio from Canadian Opera Company has just completed a 9,068 km education tour through Ontario and Quebec sponsored by globing mining giant Xstrata.

In addition to playing schools all throughout Ontario and Quebec, the tour stopped in at Raglan Mine to perform for the workers way, way up north in Quebec. As in 600km north of the treeline north. (It’s point B on the map)

While they were up there, the tour stopped at two primary schools (points C and D on the map). Here’s how they got there:
