Things that are cool:

Movember – raising awareness and money for men’s health charities via the medium of ridiculous 1970s mustaches. Non-ironic Tom Selleck mustaches allowed as well, if you must.

Orchestras – playing fantastic music, helping to build communities and keeping tail coat manufacturers in business.

Things that would be super cool: Orchestras + Movember

Movember was started in Australia, naturally, in 2009 and has gotten bigger each year. The money raised is given to existing men’s health organizations in several different countries. Inspiration:

If, like Miss Mussel, you are follicularly challenged on account of being a girl and everything, you can still participate by donating, getting the word out and encouraging your more hirsute colleagues and friends to jump on board the Mo Train.

To the mustache-capable section of OM readers, all you have to do is photograph yourself clean shaven on 1st November and then get those follicles in action. Style and trim it however you like and photograph yourself again on the 30th.
