Watch Ensemble Intercontemporain at Paris Philharmonie

If you prefer turtlenecks to waistcoats, this is your stream. L’Ensemble Intercontemporain comes live from the new Philharmonie in Paris.

The very first piece ever played in the hall was Varèse’ Tuning Up, followed by Dutilleux’ violin concerto, so the hall has good contemporary pedigree already.

Program is:
Varèse – Intégrales
Yann Maresz – Metallics for Trumpet and Electronics
Ligeti – Concerto for Piano and Orchestra
Lindberg – Related Rocks for 2 pianos, 2 percussion and electronics
